About me

My Name is Jason Winter "aka" (The ECG Educator). I have a real passion for ECG education and training, and I believe that we all could save more lives by being more knowledgeable and having a better understanding on what's displayed on the ECG monitor or print out and how the ECG works. For example understanding about De Winter T waves, may get the patient emergent PCI they need to unblock their occluded artery. Understanding about wellens syndrome might get the patient earlier investigations before they have a massive anterior infarct.

Join us in our fight to get better ECG Education for everyone, this is not a dying art, I believe that ECG training is just not given given the priority it deserves in training paramedics, EMT, doctors, nurses, technicians etc. You can support this cause by sharing this blog with your friends & colleagues, by doing so, you could indirectly save a life, by giving someone the information to get the patient the treatment they need.

I am currently working as a Ambulance clinician for a UK NHS ambulance service. I myself hold a Diploma in Electrocardiology (Dip-ECG) and I have attended specialist courses in Electrocardiology.
